We have seen some spectacular presentations these past couple of days (I'm updating Powerschool with your rubric scores)! Very impressive indeed!
I want to remind everyone that the goal of all of this research has been to give you a solid academic encounter with a book that will force you to think through the author's positions and arguments, and then to formulate your own assertions of what Steinbeck was trying to "say" with his writing. This can best be done by asserting your argument using the Toulmin thesis, the slide for which is on a previous post.
Remember that the entire point of this research project is to get you moving in the text, finding evidence for your assertions in the text itself! Here's the Guide:
