In class today, we accomplished several targets: Periods 1 & 4 both walked through the expectations for the weekly word lists. Both sections should now be aware that I will test students on the current week's list on Fridays. The warm-up (bell work) that I expect each day is for students to write the current week's list on a 4-column chart, with the first column for the root/prefix, etc., the second for the definition, the third for a word that contains the prefix or root, and the fourth column for a sentence that accurately uses the word.
